Banknote fractions are 1,000; 2,000; 5,000; and 10,000 pesetas.Coins fractions are 1; 5; 10; 25; 50; 100; 200; and 500 pesetas.
All bank branch offices offer foreign currency exchange services, as do a considerable number of hotels and many travel agencies. Most hotels and restaurants and many commercial establisments also accept the most popular international credit cards and travelers' cheques.
