Without the relevant work permit from the employment exchange, employment is not permitted. Temporary employment is possible in principle, but in view of the present labour market situation in Spain, opportunities are limited.

At some institutions of higher education, there are information centres which help students find jobs, and which may also be of use to foreign students. Foreign students, however, need the work permit mentioned above.
