There are a number of student halls of residence (Colegios Mayores) at the institutions of higher education and in comparison with the demand, places available are in short supply. More detailed information regarding this should be requested from the institution concerned.

The availability of private accomodation is varied and depends on the situation in the town concerned. In some cases, accomodation scarcity has led to relatively steep price increases.

Within and outside the higher education institutions there are some bodies which assist students in finding accomodation. They receive offers and advertise places in the student media.
